It aims to develop social responsibilities, improve performance, and prepare for the upcoming ITEP system in B.Ed. courses.

The institute has consistently maintained its reputation in terms of academic achievements and result oriented performance in the university semester examinations. Students not only from the local and adjoining areas, but also from far-flung nook-end corner within the state and even from outside the state, such as Assam, Tripura, Jharkhand, Bihar etc. have taken up their admission in the B.Ed. and D.El.Ed. Course Programme in this Institution.

Curriculum

The Institution currently runs two Courses – B.Ed. Programme and D.El.Ed. Programme

The current Methodology Subjects available for the B.Ed. Programme are as follows:

BENGALI, ENGLISH, SANSKRIT, HISTORY, POLITICAL SCIENCE, PHILOSOPHY, MATHEMATICS, LIFE SCIENCE, PHYSICAL SCIENCE, EDUCATION

In future, the institute may think to introduce and add further new Methodology Subjects as and when decided by the Governing Body of the College based on the demand of the Subjects.
